Rio Rancho police took a man and woman into questioning after a SWAT situation on Tarpon Avenue Friday morning.

Around 2 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired inside a home on the 200 block of Tarpon. A state police SWAT team set up a perimeter between Lisbon and Itasca and asked residents to remain indoors during the incident.

Just before 8 a.m., the situation was resolved and police took the man and woman into investigative detention to be interviewed. Their names have not been released at this time.
