University of New Mexico point guard Hugh Greenwood could miss Saturday's game against Marquette.  Greenwood sat out Tuesday night's loss to New Mexico State with an injured wrist he suffered on December 4th.

UNM head coach Craig Neal said Thursday afternoon Greenwood is still considered "day-to-day", however he is going to proceed as if Greenwood is not going to play.  Neal would not specify what is exactly wrong with his wrist other than to say, "He's got a hurt wrist."

"I don't think it's going to affect him long term," Neal said.  "I just think he's in a lot of pain."  When asked if anything was broken or torn, Neal repeated "He's got a hurt wrist."

If Greenwood skips Saturday's game in Las Vegas and Monday's home matchup against Grand Canyon, it would be at least 21 days in between games for Greenwood.

Greenwood is averaging 4.6 points per game and over 5 rebounds a night.
