ALBUQUERQUE -- A SWAT callout for a domestic disturbance in Albuquerque's West Side ended early Monday with one man behind bars.

On Sunday night, a man contacted police, saying his brother, 55-year-old Gregory Gunthorpe, had threatened to shoot him with a high-powered pellet rifle. Officers responded to the scene at 6400 Sunray Court NW, but police said Gunthorpe refused to cooperate and barricaded himself inside the house.

SWAT officers were called to assist at the scene. Gunthorpe was arrested without incident around 2 a.m. Police say he was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on felony charges.
