State Police Investigate Christmas Eve Stabbing in Mora

Mora County- On December 24, 2013 at about 6:30 p.m. New Mexico State Police began an investigation into a home-invasion resulting in the stabbing and robbery of a 69 year-old male which occurred in Mora, NM. 

The victim was transported to the Alta Vista Regional Hospital and then transferred to UNMH in Albuquerque for treatment of his injuries.  

He stated there were two men, only one whom he could give a brief description of.  The description he gave was a Hispanic male, five feet five inches tall, mid to late twenties, and wearing a black hoodie. 

The New Mexico State Police is requesting anyone with information regarding this investigation to call the New Mexico State Police Office in Las Vegas at 505-425-6771 and ask for Sergeant Ben Romero.
