SANTA FE (AP) - A Madrid woman is accused of biting off the tip of another woman's left pinky finger during a fight at their home.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Amber Jackson and the 35-year-old victim argued about their relationship and then fought after returning to their home after drinking in Santa Fe on Saturday night.
Sheriff's Lt. Joe McLaughlin says the victim's left pinky was removed just beyond the fingernail.
According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, Jackson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery against a household member. It isn't immediately known whether she has a lawyer.
