Albuquerque police say they've arrested a copper thief after he rammed a cruiser with his car.

23-year-old Jonathan Zottnieck was spotted coming out of the window of a home in northeast Albuquerque with what looked like stripped copper.

Police say he rammed an officer's car and got away.

a short time later, Zottneick was found at a home near Eubank and Indian School Road. A SWAT team was called out and nearby schools were locked down as a precautionary method.

Zottneick was eventually taken into custody without further incident.
