Tonight, we're learning more about the suspected shooter at a Roswell middle school.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 is withholding his name because state police have not publicly identified him.

KOB has learned the suspected shooter lives in a five-thousand square feet home in Roswell with his family.

A neighbor says this family is normal and nice, and that they're absolutely stunned to hear about what happened.

Just before 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, nearly a dozen ATF agents showed up in a convoy in a northwest Roswell neighborhood.

They couldn't say what they're looking for, but confirmed they still needed permission to go inside the suspected shooter's home.

Margarita Macias, who lives next door, was a little surprised to see federal agents standing in front of her neighbor's driveway. She says the family is kind. She knows them because the suspected shooter's father built her home. as she watched the investigation unfold, she thought of not only the two kids who got hurt, but also the student, her neighbor, who's suspected of pulling the trigger.

KOB is not naming the suspected shooter because state police have not publicly named anyone tied to the shooting itself
