Lobo taken in MLS SuperDraft

Former University of New Mexico soccer player Kyle Venter was taken by the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2nd round of the MLS SuperDraft.  He was the 23rd overall player selected.

Venter had one of the most decorated careers in UNM soccer history.  He was a three-time All-American and became the program's all-time leader in career minutes played.  Venter was voted the Conference USA Most Valuable Player as well as the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year.
