It’s been a while since the Albuquerque metro area has seen snow. KOB Eyewitness News 4 caught up with people in Los Ranchos who didn’t let the snow or cold weather ruin their morning. In fact, they loved it.
“It was wonderful. It was beautiful,” said Art Rosenberg.
“I get up at 3:30 and I yelled snow, to wake my husband up,” said Anne Cooper.
“All precipitation is good,” said Stella De Sa Rego.
That’s because the metro hasn’t seen rain or snow since the end of December.
Stella De Sa Rego and Art Rosenberg came out to Los Poblanos Fields in Los Ranchos to take it all in. We even caught them taking pictures along the way. “The best way to get through winter is to appreciate it. If you sit inside all day and it’s dark, you get depressed and it’s winter and you can’t wait for spring. But if you get out in this beautiful weather like this and you enjoy it, winter becomes a positive,” added Rosenberg.
The snow was a nice treat, but now Stella and Art just want more. “Maybe in the next two days. Maybe a little more, or something wet. Snow or rain or whatever. We’ll take it,” said De Sa Rego.
