More allegations have surfaced against the mother who allegedly kicked her son to death.

A criminal complaint states that on Christmas Eve 2012, police were called to a Cricket Wireless store on a child abuse call.

The caller said he had witnessed a woman, later identified as Synthia Varela-Casaus, punching her son Omaree inside the store.

Several store employees also told police they saw Varela-Casaus slap Omaree.

Varela-Casaus was contacted by police, but she denied the allegations. She did tell police that she was disciplining her son, who she claimed suffered from behavioral problems.

CYFD and the APD Crime Against Children unit were notified, but found no visible injuries on Omaree.

Omaree died a year later.

Varela-Casaus faces a murder charge.
