Santa Fe police are investigating a fire that burned down a furniture store late Thursday.

Fire crews responded to the fully engulfed blaze at the Hands of America furniture shop on 421 Rodeo Rd. around 11 p.m.

Crews remained overnight to extinguish hot spots and used a bulldozer to remove timber debris at the scene.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Rodeo Road was closed around the scene on Friday morning, but Santa Fe police reopened the road just after 1 p.m.
