A stretch of buildings in the heart of downtown Albuquerque have a new owner.

KOB Eyewitness News 4's media partners at Albuquerque Business First reported two investors bought more than 10,000 square feet of buildings on Central Avenue. It's just another effort to revive the downtown area.

The investors noticed how vital Central is to the area. There are already tenants in the buildings, like Blackwater Music, a live music and dance club, and the investors plan on putting even more businesses, like retailers and restaurants.

The amount the investors paid is unknown, but Albuquerque Business First reported that the properties were most recently listed at $1.3 million.
