The former head of the Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers pleaded guilty to drunken driving in metro court on Thursday.
A judge sentenced Pat Davis to six months of probation and ordered an interlock device to be put on his car. He will also have to complete DWI school and community service.
Davis was arrested on suspicion of DWI last July. He stepped down from his position with Crime Stoppers after the incident.
Davis previously ran for Bernalillo County sheriff and he also worked as the spokesperson for the district attorney's office.
