She has a voice that got all four judges on 'The Voice' to turn around and many New Mexicans want to see her make it all the way to the end.
That's because the newest member of 'Team Blake' on NBC's 'The Voice' has roots in New Mexico.
Viewers across the country saw 20-year-old Kaleigh Glanton sing her heart out, and here in New Mexico some of her biggest fans are watching from their living room in Hobbs.
"I'm about to burst with pride," said her grandfather James Phillips.
"Oh, I'm so proud of her and her daddy too," said her grandmother Jolene Phillips.
James and Jolene Phillips are cheering her on.
Kaleigh's dad is a graduate of Hobbs High School and Eastern New Mexico University.
Kaleigh and her family live in Wichita, Kansas now, but her grandparents say she's a New Mexican.
"We take her as being a New Mexico girl because it's our granddaughter and because this is where grandma and grandpa live. She comes back home to New Mexico to see us at Christmas and every chance that she can," said James Phillips. "I'm just thinking back to when she was a young child, for so long she was so shy."
Kaleigh started playing guitar when she was just 4 years old.
Her grandparents say she started singing with her dad when she was 15.
But now she's on the big stage, "Of course we have to wait and see, this is just starting. We don't know how far she'll go in this, but of course we hope that she'll go all the way and win it," said James Phillips.
