Voters in a small New Mexico county decided today to change the rules when it comes to alcohol sales.

For two decades, the Socorro County village of Magdalena has banned businesses from pouring drinks on Sunday. Package liquor sales on Sundays were okay.

Darrell Pettis, owner of Magdalena's only bar, started a petition to let voters decided if liquor can be sold by the drink all week long.

Unofficial results show 92 people voted for the change, while 24 were against it.
