ALBUQUERQUE -- The mother of a missing 14-year-old girl says the FBI is now involved in the search.

Jessica DeWent told KOB on Thursday that FBI agents took the family's computers to aid in the investigation.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for Lacey DeWent. Her parents say she last contacted them on Monday on her way to school. When she didn't show up, her family called Albuquerque police.

They believe Lacey could be headed to Florida or New Jersey with 26-year-old Robert Butler. Jessica DeWent said Butler and Lacey tried to be in a relationship for about a year. DeWent said her family fought to keep him away.

"We've had him arrested. We've called the cops on him twice. We thought it was done and over and now this happened," she said.

Police believe the pair is traveling in a blue Subaru Cross Trek. Anyone with information should contact (505)-768-2450.

Lacey DeWent is believed to be with Robert Butler.
