Man with gunshot wound found north of Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities in Bernalillo County are investigating the scene of a shooting that left a man wounded.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called Saturday around 9 p.m. to an area in the North Valley where a man was found with a gunshot wound.
Sgt. Aaron Williamson says the man was conscious and alert as he was being taken to University of New Mexico Hospital.
Williamson says deputies closed Osuna Road and Edith Boulevard while they conducted their investigation.
Authorities did not release any additional details about the victim or any possible suspects.
