A very strong cold front pushed through New Mexico Sunday night, bringing snow to the northern regions and cooler temperatures on Monday.

Several inches of snow are expected for the Sangre de Cristos, with 1-3 inches for Raton/Clayton before the storm moves out.

Temperatures in Albuquerque will be 15 degrees cooler than average thanks to the front, with spots out east up to 30 degrees colder.

The cool down will be short-lived as temperatures rebound to near 70 in the metro by Tuesday.
