Albuquerque area first responders have set up bins for the first ever Sirens for the Homeless collection drive.

The goal is to help the nearly 6,000 homeless students within the Albuquerque Public Schools district.

If you see one of these bins at several locations around the city, Albuquerque and Bernalillo County first responders ask you to donate things like socks, underwear and non-perishable food.

T-shirts can also be purchased to support the cause. The drive ends on April 26.
