Albuquerque police say a hot air balloon hit a house in the area of Sage and Unser while attempting to land on Friday morning.

Police spokesman Simon Drobik said the balloon pilot and the homeowner were not injured in the incident.

The balloon pilot, Al Lonstein, told KOB he misjudged the landing and scraped a few tiles off of the roof of a home located at 7412 Via Cometa.

Lonstein was able to land the balloon safely nearby.
