An Albuquerque nurse who works with children and teens is expected in court Monday to face child porn charges.
New Mexico State Police began investigating John Jaramillo in November after his home was linked to a file-sharing network used to trade child porn.
Several local law enforcement agencies with the New Mexico Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a federal search warrant at Jaramillo's residence in Albuquerque's West Side and seized a computer and computer-related media allegedly used only by Jaramillo.
A preliminary forensic examination of the computer recovered more than 250 images and videos consistent with child pornography, according to authorities.
If convicted, the 44-year-old could face up to 20 years in prison.
