Hobbs High School was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon due to a report about a person in the school with a gun.

Police were called to the school at around 3:00 and did a sweep at the school, finding three students brandishing a pellet gun. The three students were detained and are currently being interviewed.

No students were harmed, and charges have not been filed at this time.

The lockdown was lifted shortly before 4:30 p.m.
