Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies are searching for a pair of individuals who fired shots at a Santa Fe Police Department vehicle in Albuquerque on Tuesday.

The incident took place around 9:30 p.m., when the vehicle was traveling south on 2nd Street. BCSO says two suspects shot at the vehicle and then ran into the trailer park at 10200 2nd Street.

No one was injured in the shooting. The suspects are still on the loose.

Deputies believe the incident was a random act and not specifically targeted toward law enforcement. Anyone with information is asked to call (505)-798-7000.

It is not clear why the Santa Fe police vehicle was in Albuquerque.
