Sources tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 Sandia High School Athletic Director Tom Knauber is accused of planting a marijuana pipe in basketball coach Alvin Broussard's office.

Monday, Knauber reported the pipe to school administrators. Broussard's attorney said they want to see surveillance video from the school and believes it shows Knauber sneaking into the coach's office last Friday. Knauber is on paid leave until the investigation is finished.

KOB called Knauber several times for a response to this story but never called us back.

Broussard has been a coach for Sandia High School for a few years with many successful seasons. If Knauber did try to frame the coach, people are wondering why.

APS did not release much information into the Athletic Director's investigation, only that it did not involve students.

A statement from Coach Broussard's attorney was sent to KOB. You can read that statement here.
