The Los Angeles Dodgers have suspended Isotopes catcher Miguel Olivo. The Dodgers didn't say exactly what he was suspended for, but it comes just a day after a fight in which Olivo reportedly bit off a part of his teammate's ear.

The fight took place on the field during the Isotopes' game against the Salt Lake Bees.

Alex Guerrero needed plastic surgery to repair his ear after the incident. Some early reports say Guerrero could be out for four weeks.

The Topes came up empty against the Bees Wednesday night, losing 3-0.

The Isotopes are home on Friday.
