ROSWELL -- Flash flooding in Roswell damaged dozens of gravesites at South Park Cemetery over the Memorial Day weekend. But by Monday, the cemetery got to work fixing the plots.

Cemetery officials said a retention pond nearby flooded on Saturday morning, damaging around 50 to 60 plots.

Crews are filling in sunken plots with dry dirt and will soon start to fix the headstones.

The cemetery says families are welcome to come by and check on the status of their loved ones' graves throughout the day.
