Two Albuquerque brothers are behind bars after a drug task force found more than 100 pounds of pot in their vehicle along I-25 in San Miguel County.

Leland E. Watson, 56, and Reddell Watson, 43, are each facing one count of distribution of marijuana and one count of conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

According to court documents, agents found two large duffle bags of the drugs in individually wrapped packages in the vehicle. The packages were the size of a brick and some were half a brick size.

Agents said the suspected marijuana packages were covered in grease and wrapped in plastic, similar to the way drug cartels package their drugs.

The brothers are being held in the San Miguel County Detention Center on $50,000 cash bonds.
