Albuquerque police said a convenience store clerk got into a fight with a customer and at least one shot was fired.

The incident took place near the Circle K at Pennsylvania and Central Thursday night. Police said the clerk was taken to UNM Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the clerk noticed a woman was stealing and confronted her to get the items back. The clerk followed the woman outside and the two got into a fight. Police said two men approached them and started attacking the clerk.

The clerk allegedly pulled out a gun. Police said a shot was fired but it's not clear if anyone was hurt due to the gunfire.

The two men and the woman took off. Police are now looking for them.
