The Albuquerque woman accused of using her granddaughter to make child pornography learned her fate today, but not before pulling out all the stops in the 11th hour.
In March, as part of a plea deal, Linda Davis pleaded no contest to kidnapping her granddaughter.
Prosecutors dropped rape charges against her, but today her lawyer attempted two different motions to reject the plea deal.
Davis first claimed she was "under the influence" of oxycontin when she signed off, then she tried to fire her attorney, and represent herself.
The judge said no to both and sentenced Davis to 25 years in prison.
