Albuquerque police are looking for a second person believed to be involved in the beating death of a 65-year-old man last week.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Marcus Hamilton on Friday in connection to the case. Police said Hamilton admitted to kicking and punching Richard Zarate in his home with a friend, 24-year-old Phillip Martin. Zarate died from his injuries on June 5.

Hamilton reportedly told police he was staying with Zarate when the 65-year-old man was accused of sexually assaulting a family member.

Police have issued a warrant for Martin's arrest on an open count of murder.

A woman, 20-year-old Samantha Ross, was also arrested in the case. Police say she was seen on Wal-Mart surveillance video with Hamilton using Zarate's credit card after his murder.

Ross is charged with several counts of credit card theft and is expected to appear in court Monday.
