It's the show that's made the city of Albuquerque a mecca for its fans and many of those fans make it here for a glimpse of "Breaking Bad."
"We know fans from around the world want to come to Albuquerque. There are people that put this on their bucket list," said Miguel Jaramillo, Co-Founder of 99.1% Productions.
He and his business partner, Dr. Jennie Rexer, want fans to come at one time to experience Albuquerque from a Breaking Bad perspective. They want to host the first ever "Breaking Bad Fan Fest," and are trying to put that festival together via a Kickstarter campaign.
"We've been bouncing the idea around, and said let's do it," Jaramillo said.
The festival they've planned would include trivia games, costume contests, and panel discussions with some of the stars from the show. It would also include tours and a VIP party, which they estimate would cost $35,000 and would need the money by July 11th.
"If you want to make this happen because you love the show and you love Albuquerque, then help because we need all the help we can get," Jaramillo said.
