The Asaayi Lake Fire doubled in size overnight and is now burning more than 1,000 acres in the Chuska Mountains.

According to the Navajo Nation, wind is making the fire spread. The fire is currently at zero percent containment.

Around 250 firefighters are on scene. Some summer homes have been evacuated.

On Saturday, firefighters also responded to two lightning-sparked wildfires in the Lincoln National Forest just about eight miles apart.

Crews are completing mop up operations at this time. It's not clear how many acres were burned.
