Firefighters are working to contain a three-acre fire sparked by lightning on the Carson National Forest on Sunday.

The Petaca Fire is located five miles west of the village of Servilleta.

Crews are currently working on a hand line around the fire and hope to call the fire contained sometime Monday.

Firefighters and engines from the Carson and Santa Fe National Forests are on scene, as well as the 20-person Red River Chasers.
