More than $2,000 worth of drugs seized by SFPD detectives

SANTA FE, NM- More than $2,000 worth of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana was seized by Santa Fe Police Detectives following a two week long narcotics investigations.

An anonymous tip led detectives to a residence in Santa Fe Friday. Just under an ounce of cocaine, three-quarters of an ounce of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and suboxone, and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia was seized inside the home.

Daniel Ronquillo, 35, and Emily Martinez, 38, were both arrested and charged with one count of tampering with evidence. Ronquillo was also charged with two counts of  trafficking a controlled substance. Martinez was also charged with conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Santa Fe County residents are encouraged to use the area’s Drug Tip Hotline if they believe there is drug activity going on in their neighborhood. Residents are also urged to call (505)428-3737 if they notice suspicious activity.
