A man who police believe is responsible for a string of commercial burglaries is off the streets. In fact, police say they caught him red handed.

David Berman was arraigned today on commercial burglary charges after police say they followed him first to Shoman Staffing Services on Lomas at 3:00 a.m. Friday morning.

Police watched him attempt to pick the lock at that business and when he was unsuccessful, he left to find another business to try and get in to. Police say that this is not the first time Berman has been accused of picking locks.

They followed him to the San Gabriel plaza on Eubank where he picked the lock on the front door and that's when police nabbed him.

We found charges against Berman stemming from commercial burglary all the way back to 2002.

Berman is being held tonight on a $15,000 bail.
