You still have one more day to check out the Albuquerque Comic Expo downtown.

Your favorite characters are coming to life this weekend inside the Albuquerque Convention Center. From movies like Alice in Wonderland to legendary comic book heroes like Spiderman and batman.

So, besides checking out all the awesome costumes, what's the best part of the Albuquerque Comic Expo? It just depends on who you ask.

"Getting to meet friends. Everyone who shares the same passion of being nerds. but that's not a derogatory term. We love being kids," said Daniel Lister.

Over all three days, The Albuquerque Comic Expo is expected to bring between 15,000 and 20,000 people to the convention center. They come from all over the country, but most of these vendors are from right here in New Mexico. This is the third most valuable convention in Albuquerque, generating more than $3 Million.

You can get your hands on everything from t-shirts and jewelry to rare comic books and action figures. If all that isn't enough for you there's always the celebrity guests like Lou Ferrigno, also known as the Incredible Hulk.

Doors open at 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Tickets start at $20.
