Police say Edward Lujan, Bert Fairchild and Chad Lyon were all involved in stealing thousands of dollars worth of copper wire from street light poles.

Police found the wire at Lujan's home while serving a search warrant, which said Lujan was also involved in stealing battery storage boxes worth $10-15,000 from Cricket.

Police say receipts showed Lujan had sold more than 15000 pounds of metal to a recycling business. Police believe Lujan signed a statement promising the business that it was his own property he was selling.

Lujan is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond. Lyon and Fairchild are being held for $10,000 cash or surety.
