Fugitive could be back in Doña Ana County

According to Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators, a man who reportedly fled to Mexico after posting bond could be back in Doña Ana County.

Guillermo Velasquez, 19, was arrested on July 10, 2013 for residential burglary and conspiracy to commit a third-degree felony.

Deputies reportedly caught Velasquez and another suspect coming out of a window of a residence. Investigators say Velasquez has not been seen since he was booked at the Doña Ana County Detention Center, where he posted bond on July 29, 2013. New information leads them to believe he could be in the area.
