Parts of southwest Albuquerque are a mess after heavy rain caused a ditch to flood.

The flooding hit houses on Coors and Raymac early Thursday.

"Water from the front of the house all the way across. You could not see the concrete, back porch, you couldn't see anything," homeowner Becky Roberts said.

The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District said the ditch did not break, but it did fill up and it could only handle so much.

The conservancy district is sending out crews to pump water out of the area.
