If you're hosting some family or friends this weekend, you have loads to choose from when showing them around.

It wouldn't be the 4th of July without a little barbecue, but there will be a lot of it in Rio Rancho. The Annual Pork and Brew Bar-B-Q State Championship is at the Santa Ana Star Center through Sunday. The best barbecue vendors from around the region will compete. The three-day festival also features live music and family activities.

The Smokey Bear Stampede in Capitan has made national news as one of ten best small town celebrations in the county. There are eight rodeos in four days! As well as music, food vendors and much more.

The Santa Fe Wine Festival is old enough to drink now! The 21st annual celebration of New Mexico Wines takes place at the historic El Rancho De Las Golondrinas Saturday and Sunday.

The Las Vegas Fiestas is underway. There's live music, including New Mexico's Favorite, Al Hurricane at noon on Saturday, a parade, street dances and plenty of traditional food through Sunday. The Fiestas has been a Las Vegas tradition since the 1800's.
