The event is just picking up and there is still plenty of time to get out here.
If you do plan to come out your best bet is to park at St. Pius on the west side or near Coronado on the east side and take the shuttle. You’ll avoid the traffic coming in.
As you can see it's a large space and the city is preparing for big crowds.
If you ride a bike here they will store it for you.
If you must drive take either Balloon Fiesta Parkway from the east or Balloon Museum Drive and Alameda to the south.
Parking will cost you $10.
There's a lot ahead for families to enjoy.
The Freedom 4th event itself is free and put on by Cultural Services.
