NBC's hit show American Ninja Warrior continues to rule the ratings on Monday nights. KOB Eyewitness News 4 found an Albuquerque man who is addicted to the show.

In fact, he has been on the show for the past 5 years. Josh Kronberg says after not doing so well his first year, he decided to build his own obstacle course in his backyard.

He now trains all year long. Every year, he makes a tape and submits it to the producers -- and gets picked.

But even after completing the course several times, he has only made it on the episodes for brief mentions.

Kronberg says it's frustrating because the course is really challenging to get through.

"As soon as you get there, not only is it intimidating but the size of it. It's so much bigger when you're on each obstacle than it looks on TV. They are a lot harder than they look," Kronberg said.

He says he's going to keep doing it until he physically can't anymore.

Believe it or not, he's 38-years-old. He has been selected to test the new courses several times, though he doesn't get paid for it.

He says he has already started working on his submission tape for next year.

Kronberg also trains at Zero Point Parkour and Fitness.

If you would like to train with him, you can schedule a workout with him. His number is (505) 250-6459. Zero Point is located at 1823 Commercial St. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102. It costs $15 for a session with Kronberg, or you can go in for an open gym for $10 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday from 7-9 p.m.
