Pedestrian struck by vehicle on Coors near Rio Bravo

A pedestrian was hospitalized early Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle on Coors near Rio Bravo.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department identified the male pedestrian as Tyrone Hummerhoy, 30.

According to Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies, Hummerhoy was walking west across Coors with two unidentified males. One of the men reportedly pushed Hummerhoy to the ground. Before he could get up, he was struck by truck.

Hummerhoy suffered a possible broken leg and head injury. His condition is unknown at this time.

Northbound Coors was shut down for about an hour Wednesday morning. The driver of the truck is not facing any charges.
