An Albuquerque woman woke to a man in her home on Friday morning.

With her small child in the next bedroom, the woman called 911 and told the dispatcher that a man was standing in her bedroom doorway. She said the man was wearing a woman’s bathing suit and a purple robe. He told the woman he was an angel sent to protect her.

Albuquerque Police officers arrived and immediately made entry taking the man, identified as Jacob Segura, 22, into custody. It was determined that Segura entered the home through an unlocked back door.

Segura told police he was high on meth.

He was found to have a warrant out of Roswell for child exploitation and possession of child pornography.

The woman whose home he was found in has chosen not press charges in the case.

Segura is currently being held at Metropolitan Detention Center but will be sent back to Chaves County to face a judge.
