According to Torrance County Sheriff Heath White, dozens of 911 calls were received from a 7-year-old girl, saying she was being held captive in a blue semi-truck.

She called multiple times and the line would disconnect.

The phone calls were traced to a TA Travel Center in Moriarty.

Deputies located the semi-truck and after investigating the incident, found the girl had mental health issues and had recently watched an abduction movie. The driver of the semi-truck was her great uncle.

The girl is headed back to Missouri with her uncle and law enforcement will talk more with her family there.
