FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) — Farmington police say a woman drove drunk with an infant and the infant's mother, who was also intoxicated, in the car.

Lt. Taft Tracy said Sunday that officers responded Wednesday night to a disturbance at an apartment complex involving 36-year-old Ivana Bryant and 36-year-old Rheanna Lasiloo.

Tracy says police determined that Bryant had driven her Ford pickup to the complex while under the influence of alcohol.

Furthermore, police say Lasiloo and her 7-month-old child were passengers.

According to officers, both women had been drinking since noon and Lasiloo was too inebriated to care for her child.

Bryant has been booked into jail for felony child abuse and DWI.

Lasiloo and her child were released into the custody of Lasiloo's father.

But police cited her for child neglect.
