Missing woman, 75, last seen hiking near Santa Fe Ski Basin

SANTA FE, N.M. -- New Mexico State Police are searching for a 75-year-old woman who disappeared while hiking on Windsor Trail near the Santa Fe Ski Basin on Wednesday.

Police tell the Santa Fe New Mexican that Audrey Richman Kaplan was hunting for mushrooms with her husband on Wednesday. They say he took a break and waited for her at the trailhead but she never showed up.

Crews looked for her on Thursday and will be out again Friday morning.

Kaplan is 5-feet-four-inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen carrying two walking poles and a plastic Trader Joe's shopping bag.
