An Albuquerque man accused of threatening people with a machete got into even more trouble in the courtroom Sunday morning.

Clemente Moreno was arrested Saturday in front of his southeast Albuquerque apartment. A teen girl called police and said Moreno was waving a machete at her parents. Police never found the machete but say Moreno admitted to arming himself with a kitchen knife.

In court, Moreno tried to talk to the judge about his case, but the judge told him repeatedly not to speak. Moreno hung up the phone and tried to leave the room while the judge was still talking, but an officer grabbed onto him.

Moreno needed to hold the phone to hear the Spanish translator.

The judge placed a no bond hold on Moreno after his outburst.
