ALBUQUERQUE -- The man accused of shooting children with a squirt gun filled with his bodily fluids appeared in court Monday on new child rape charges.

Kevin Jaramillo, 35, pleaded not guilty to criminal sexual penetration, criminal sexual contact and kidnapping a girl under the age of 13.

After Jaramillo was arrested in connection to the northeast Albuquerque squirt gun incidents, police searched his home computer and found child pornography.

One of the videos showed a young girl riding her bicycle in an arroyo. Police found the child and she identified Jaramillo as the man who molested her two years ago.

She told police Jaramillo said he was a UNM student working on a project and asked if he could take pictures of her. When she said yes, he led her to a bridge, where he allegedly molested the girl.

On Monday, a judge set his bond at $250,000 cash only.

Jaramillo is also facing eight counts of child abuse and other felony charges for the squirt gun assaults.
