A woman accused of slamming into an aviation officer's Jeep and severely injuring him while allegedly drunk faced a judge in court Monday.

32-year-old Michelle Rivera pleaded not guilty to aggravated DWI, reckless driving and great bodily harm charges Monday as her stunned victim looked on.

State police say Rivera's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit when she crashed into Bobby Dilley in March on Interstate 40.

Dilley suffered a broken neck and major head injuries in the crash, and said he wasn't happy to learn Rivera would be out of jail for the time being.

"I'm disappointed that she has the opportunity to go back out there and reoffend, maybe kill somebody, or hurt them just as bad or worse," Dilley said.

A judge ordered Rivera to wear a monitoring device that will notify authorities every time she drinks alcohol.
